MOMU's story

The MOMU Motorsports Museum is located in Turba, in the building of the former Ellamaa power plant, surrounded by the MOMU garden.

MOMU is a truly exciting museum for the whole family, where you can explore 250+ motorsport machines and even get so close to some that you can sit inside yourself.

With an audio guide, you can travel through history, smell the atmosphere of racing, and take mood photos with trophies on the podium.

Enjoy the moment at MOMU, find a special product made by locals in the souvenir shop, and take a walk in the MOMU Garden, shaped like the legendary Pirita-Kose-Kloostrimetsa circuit, where the outdoor exhibitions "The Century of the Ellamaa Power Plant" and "Mother's Day" are located!

MOMU often organizes very special public events and offers opportunities for gatherings - concerts, seminars, receptions, birthdays!

MOMU

MOMU's collection is constantly growing and so are the exhibits - everyone who comes into the house will find something familiar. In addition, you can sit inside several cars, smell the garage smell and enjoy a powerful view of the history of local motorsport.

MOMU Garden

A flower garden shaped like the Pirita-Kose-Kloostrimetsa circular trail, winding for 73 meters. You can experience it any time of year - come walk, look, sit and listen as the carefully created garden shows its beauty.

Ellamaa Power Plant

Over a hundred years of powerful history are housed here in a building with a unique architecture, which MOMU has lovingly renovated. The views from the outside alone, not to mention the power plant's specific rooms, are an experience in themselves.

RENT ROOMS

MOMU has such versatile spaces that are suitable for organizing very special events - receptions, work meetings, seminars, summer days, birthdays.

SOUVENIR SHOP

At the MOMU souvenir shop you can buy such special products made by locals - from honey from our garden flowers, a loaf of peat bread, a plate in the shape of a racetrack, and a written book!

Project: Creation of a MOMU souvenir shop and signpost

The Estonian Motorsports History NGO received support from the LEADER measure to create the MOMU souvenir shop and signpost. The opportunities created from this support (signposting, creation of a souvenir shop, purchase of flagpoles) will help increase the income, visibility and visitor satisfaction of the MOMU Motorsports Museum. In the event that the museum has to close its doors due to the outbreak, there will still be an opportunity to visit the created MOMU Garden, outdoor exhibition and souvenir shop - this will ensure the minimum income necessary for the museum to function.
